The present section features several
Guest House Plans in order to compare different Timber Frame Houses designed for hosting guests , blending together both comfort , good taste , economy and small size . Although we deal here with little houses , several of them count with Jacuzzi , walk in closets , bathtubs , 2 bathrooms and big illuminated living rooms , and even a second living room .
Guest House Plans
The first Guest House Plans that we present here is a little 51 sq m house , the
"Hares Ear" ( see the picture above ), extracted from the
Jim Barna's Adventure Series Cabins collection , which becomes a cozy pretty timber frame home :
The little house features 2 bedrooms and a living room with kitchen .
Although its tiny proportions , this round timber home turns into a comfortable Guest House . A few interesting details must be highlighted :
1 - The Guest House has a bathtub : that is not very usual in little homes.
2 - The bedrooms have its built in wardrobes : a very useful characteristic of most of Jim Barna's Homes designs .
3 - The living room is fully illuminated : plenty of windows ( 5 ) and with a glazed door .

This
Little Wooden House is modern and elegant , measures just 57 sq m of area , and seeing it from the inside turns into a bigger family house , or a Guest's House , since it counts with a notable comfort and good design for this size of home . This Guest House is built around a big ~27 sq m main Room , with Living , Hall and kitchen , and is decorated by a high ceiling and many windows :
The house's main space spreads for most of the ground floor , and opens to the ~8 sq m terrace :
The lower floor has a comfortable ~12 sq m Main Bedroom , and a bathroom with shower .
The upper floor includes a big ~17 sq m bedroom :
The upper floor bedroom is open down to the Main living space and has pretty cathedral windows :
There exists another version of this pretty house , no upper floor , with just 40 sq m area .
It has one bedroom , and the bathroom is bigger enough to include a bathtub :

The living room is a comfortable ~ 25 sq m one , with 2 big double glazed doors .
Another interesting features which should be taken into account are :
1 - The bathroom has a bathtub , which is not usual in cabins.
2 - As most of Jim Barna's Homes designs , the bedrooms come with its built in wardrobes .

As you can see , the living room includes now a wardrobe , and a little room for the washing machine .
