The Elegant and Affordable 2 Bedrooms "Mora"  Passive House


This post presents you the "Mora" house , an economic but really elegant and affordable 2 Bedrooms  pretty Timber Frame  Passive House , by Svenskhomes  , at Suffolk .




This 99.27 m²  double storey house features another 88.55 sq m of veranda and balcony .
Featuring a reverse living design , this pretty home allows you to enjoy panoramic views from the huge cathedral windows at the upper floor living room with a balcony :



This smartly designed house provides another living room at the ground floor :





The stairs and balustrade are made of pine clear lacquered .



At the ground floor , there is a beautiful kitchen , plenty of windows and light :








Besides the kitchen , there is an utility room , with an external door :



The ground floor includes also a bedroom with a bathroom :






The upper floor features , besides the living room , a master bedroom with a private bathroom :






Being a Passive House , there has been carefully taken care all insulation issues on walls , roof and windows .
The roof contains 230 mm mineral wool insulation with windshield , and 60 mm air ventilation and vapor control layer . 
The windows are triple glazed with ventilation valves. Also the glazed doors are triple glazed .
The timber walls include 145 mm mineral wool insulation plus plastic foil vapor control . And the floors have 10 mm damp proof membrane board with 195 mm mineral wool insulation  , and also an  22 mm T&G floor moisture resistant particleboard .





In sum ,  the "Mora" house is an economic but really pretty Timber Frame  Passive House , built by Svenskhomes  , at Suffolk .
